Situation
The leadership of a division of a professional services firm had their sights on being recognized as one of the ‘Best Places to Work’ knowing how significant this designation can be on the long-term health and success of the business. Their first step was to call this out; their next step was to make it happen.
Solution
KAMDEN Strategy Group was engaged to facilitate the creation and roll-out of a comprehensive Employee Engagement Program. Key objectives of this program centered on attracting and retaining key talent as well as inspiring an increased level of engagement among everyone across the firm.
- An internal check was conducted to better understand current employee needs and desires.
- An external look was taken to find out how other companies are addressing the needs of a diverse workforce, particularly younger generational talent.
- The design of an Employee Engagement Program included plan components, participation criteria, resources needed to implement, anticipated impacts on the business, monitoring and measurement systems, and a conceptual roll-out plan.
- Most significantly, the components, goals and objectives of the program were intentionally aligned with the strategic growth direction of the firm.
